We are currently recruiting for a Benefits Manager (5738) contract to work in Portsmouth.
This is a contract role paying £320 Ltd per day and is initially a 6 month contract.

*Experience of stakeholder and benefits management
*Experience of managing project plans
*Experience managing stakeholders from different areas of a business and driving joint activities through to successful conclusion
*Experience of influencing through the decision making process
*Experience of identifying and reporting risks to programme objectives
*Ability to build strategic relationships internally
*Ability to effectively communicate at different levels between the business, the vendor and internal Programme team
*Strong analytical skills
*Ability to make clear plans, evaluate progress and articulate appropriately to the team and stakeholders
*Ideally candidates will have experience working with a government body.
The purpose of the benefits role is to provide a benefits realisation support service to programme, business managers and business change managers. The main duties and responsibilities include: Contribute to ensuring benefits are aligned to the department's strategic outcomes. Contribute to ensuring that the benefits map illustrates the relationship between outcomes and outputs so that realisation between the benefits can be mapped and tracked. Ensure that benefits are sufficiently defined and appropriate means of measurement are in place in order that benefits can be tracked across the lifetime of the programme. Tracking benefits across the lifetime of the programme utilising appropriate tools and techniques. Supporting development and maturing of the Benefits Realisation Strategy and Plan Planning and execution of benefits realisation. Lead benefit and dis benefit identification activities and review regularly to improve effectiveness. Develop and Maintain Outcome relationship models and programme benefits maps. Facilitate agreement of the benefits management strategy, realisation plans and profiles between SRO, Programme Manager and business change managers. Track and report on the realisation of benefits by the business. Work with business managers to identify additional opportunities for benefits realisation and to minimise dis benefits. Assist SRO in benefits reviews. Assess benefits planning and realisation across a number of programmes or projects to identify gaps, overlaps and conflicts and eliminate double counting in benefits plans of individual programmes and projects. Provide scrutiny of Business Cases from business perspective.
