Job Description

MULTI ACTIVITY INSTRUCTORS
Stubbers Adventure Centre are looking for Staff with experience of working with children to lead groups in multi activity adventurous activities for the summer.
Location:
Upminster, Essex
Benefits:

Full training including National Governing Body qualifications Competitive salary
Start dates available:
16th March 2015 or

Easter training starting 30th March. Start date in May or June depending on University Holidays following completion of Easter training.
Duration:

End dates between 30th August and 4th October 2015 depending on University term dates.
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for candidates who have experience working with children, ideally in an outdoor setting but Stubbers provides full training. Stubbers is a large independent multi activity centre. The 130 acre estate includes 3 lakes, residential centre, tent villages and a large variety of quality activities including some more unusual ones such as dual control 4x4, Mountain Boards and Jet Ski driving. The centre is open 7 days a week for most of the year and at its busiest will have over
45 instructor delivering to 300 clients a day.
The centre is committed to providing high quality activity sessions with plenty of involvement by the participants. Clients will range widely in age and behaviour. It can be challenging and tiring work but all our staff agree that it can also be rewarding and fun!

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates will have experience working with children in a supervisory role. Desirable qualifications are any of the following: RYA Dinghy Instructor, BCU /
UKCC L 1 Coach, MLTE Climbing Wall Award or Single Pitch Award.
All staff undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
