Our client Pharmacy2U Ltd is the leading mail order and internet pharmacy in the UK. Rapid expansion ambitions for the Pharmacy2U NHS prescription business has created the need for a highly professional and organised individual to drive and support the development and uptake of the electronic prescription based business at Pharmacy2U Ltd.
Key Responsibilities1.Drive the progression of commercial partnership arrangements with General Practices in England, to increase NHS prescription revenue for Pharmacy2U.
2.Create prospects, present and tailor existing commercial proposal, coordinate and close the agreement.
3.Manage the operational go live and marketing processes.
4.Support the practice during the early phases of working with Pharmacy2U and dealing with a competitive business environment.
5.Promote the participation of GPs and their practices in the electronic transmission of NHS prescriptions through building relationships with them and local implementation teams.
6.Support the wider Pharmacy2U NHS patient marketing effort through practice meetings and trade shows when required.
Essential skills and experience
As the successful candidate, you will possess a good understanding of primary care in England, including the role Pharmacy plays in ensuring an efficient and professional service is provided to patients and General Practices.You will strongly believe in the benefit of considering new ways of delivering healthcare in the UK.

You will clearly demonstrate the skills required to effectively communicate with and influence Doctors and Practice Managers in primary care settings.As such you will be a confident and patient, verbal and written communicator and be able to use these skills to sell new and complex concepts.

You will have some understanding of the commercial workings of both general practice and NHS pharmacy provision.The ability to present commercial opportunities in a clear but detailed way whilst dealing with questions will be important.

You are a confident and comfortable user of IT.You enjoy computers and like learning about how they can be used to support and advance healthcare. Some understanding of primary care IT systems is useful but not essential.

You are self motivating and will respond well to the combination of regional travel and meetings, home working and national team gatherings.Your organisational and project management skills, including diary management will be excellent ensuring that close control is kept on your busy working life.
