Vacancy: Service Development Manager - Complex Community Healthcare
Sector: Community Healthcare
Location: Manchester or Leeds based with travel around the North of England
Hours: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000, bonus, plus excellent company bens

Client Information:
My client provides specialise care packages to patients within the community, providing complex care packages in areas such as: acquired brain injury, spinal injury, palliative care, end of life etc.

The highly skilled team of Nurses and Support Workers work closely with a multi disciplinary team such as: hospitals, primary care trusts, local authorities, GPs, charities, case-management companies and voluntary organisation’s, whilst providing the highest level of care that complies with both Care Quality Commission guidelines and policies and procedures developed by the experienced Clinical Directorate.

Job Scope:
Reporting to the National Service Development Manager, you will be responsible for service development within the Community Healthcare division. To devise strategies for the identification, structured approach and development of relationships with key clients with an objective of securing contractually governed supplier relationships providing enhanced volumes of business. To secure new business opportunities of significant volumes and high levels of exclusivity. Responsibility for growth opportunities nationally with nominated commissioners within all sectors of the Community Healthcare Market.

Key Tasks:

Business Development
•Take personal responsibility for service development at senior buyer level within each target client and the designated discipline nationally.
•Support with development and delivery of presentations in order to secure client opportunities, when delegated undertake delivery presentations
•Production of bid and tender documentations to facilitate the securing of formal client relationships
•Ensure the smooth transition of client management to implementation and delivery teams at appropriate times
•Responsibility to identify & record details of key personnel in the client organisation
•Identify & record business and service opportunities within the client base for all elements of the Company
•Establish, maintain and record contacts and build relationships at all levels within the client organization and in particular at departmental and executive level
•Support & identify a successful sales strategy for the market and to continue to develop and adapt the same as required
•Actively promote all divisions of the community healthcare team and secure relationships that provide increased business opportunities across all divisions
