Job Description

Mortgage Business Analyst (Business Analysis Target Operating Model TOM Transformation Process Mortgages Lending Business Change Manager UAT Business Banking Finance) required by my banking client in London.

You MUST have the following:

  • Current or recent experience as a Mortgage Lending Business Change Manager/Business Analyst within a bank
  • Minimum 5 years banking experience since 2010
  • Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience delivering new processes/TOM's, training and IT solutions for mortgage lending operations

The following would be DESIRABLE, not essential:

  • Business Change Manager/Process Business Analyst experience for a challenger bank
  • Retail mortgages
  • Microsoft Visio
  • KYC and fraud
  • DPR

Role: You will join a mortgage lending programme for a Private Bank in London. As one of three or four Business Change Managers/Business Analysts, you will be tasked with the restructure and mapping of the lending operations team, taking it from 9 to 17; engineering of the mortgage process/TOM; implementing new procedures around origination, verification and valuations; a mortgage servicing TOM: implementation of a new mortgage origination system, including UAT; and the possible launch of new mortgage products. You will be managing multiple work streams at once and collaborating with stakeholders from lending and mortgage teams, IT, finance, sales and the COO.

The bank's culture is relaxed, sociable and meritocratic; there is a very flat hierarchy and significant freedom of bureaucracy and process, meaning rapid delivery.

Hours are 9-5. Retention of staff is high. A long-term contract is probable.

Salary: £50k - £70k + 30% Bonus + 10% Pension
